Firstly, warm thanks go to Father Guy Vanhoomissen for the monthly stories which help us to discover Moses’ life and the story of his people in a new way. Thanks also go to each member of the team: Alice (Portugal), Olha (Ukraine) and Jean-Luc (Switzerland). Jean-Luc is a Protestant and it is he who has chosen and written the prayers for each month. This is a wonderful way of experiencing ecumenism. As you know, the guidelines are only a tool. They are sent to over 80 countries where Faith and Light exists. You can imagine the diversity of languages, traditions and cultures! So don’t be afraid to adapt them to the nature of your own community, its needs and its rhythm of life. From among the activities suggested, choose the ones that are most suited to the nature of your community, your culture, your traditions and the time that you have available… Be free and creative. It is wonderful to know that from Australia to Ukraine, from Burundi to Japan, via Russia and Canada, we will all be marching to the same beat, walking together with Moses and his people. An entire year with Moses to learn from him humility, compassion, trust and to discover all the wonders that God is constantly doing for all of us... On behalf of the entire team, enjoy a safe and happy journey.
