Magazine - Ombres et Lumière

The “Ombres et Lumière” magazine was created in 1968 by a team composed of parents of disabled children and friends together with Marie-Hélène Mathieu. The current editing team is still spurred on by the same passion, to reach out to new families to share light and friendship at the heart of their everyday lives which often combine solitude and combat.

This quarterly magazine (published in French only) includes the following sections in each 52-page issue :

Current news items:
An interview
Enlightenment on the life of the disabled person

A special feature:
To go into more depth, to understand and advance on an issue. In each feature there are testimonies by disabled people, parents, a doctor, an educator.

Family life: a question, experiences and educational pathways to explore.

Practical section : books, associations, practical help.

News on Faith and Light at international level

In each issue: Columns by Marie-Hélène Mathieu and Jean Vanier
