Homepage | The person | The family | The friends | Sitemap | Search | Contact Français | English | Español | PrintA caravan of disabled people, their families and friends In the framework of the European Year of the Disabled Person and of the 40th anniversary of the OCH, the OCH is organsing a caravan of disabled people, their families and friends which will travel across France from 29 September to 23 November 2003.The Caravan will consist of disabled people, their families and friends in collaboration with associations active in the area of the disabled. Over a six-week period and crossing some 7 000 km, the Caravan will travel from gathering to gathering, bringing testimonies to schools, listening and visiting different establishments (homes, centres, workshops etc) and other places where disabled people live. Every week will culminate in a festive day with the Eucharist celebrated by the bishop of the town, a meal giving the occasion to meet the local population, a play by the theater company “le Puits” called “Igor’s Country”, a conference/testimony given by a notable personality, different stands and animations.
