Weekend spent by a Faith and Light Community from Paris at "la Ferme" in Trosly, l'Arche
Our community has just spent a weekend in Trosly. We all agreed unanimously that it was just "the best". There were about 20 of us, of varying ages, the youngest was 18 months old and the eldest 74 years old.
What did we like the best? It's difficult to say :

  | The warmth and simplicity of the way we were welcomed.

  | The little oratory looks like a stable and reminds us of Bethlehem with the presence of Jesus who we can come and pray to or contemplate in the Eucharist.

  | The visit of the two homes: the little house where Jean Vanier started l'Arche 40 years ago with Raphaël and Philippe, then "la Forestière" where we had the joy of meeting Loïc, the person at the origin of Faith and Light.

  | The two-star rooms (shower, WC).

  | The delicious and copious meals. |
Conversation heard at the last breakfast : "With l’Arche, I can't remember whether Faith and Light is its cousin or its brother and sister. I'm sure it must be its brother and sister because that's the way we've been welcomed here!"
