We lose the feeling of who is the highest and who is the lowest, for the highest lowers himself and the lowest rises up. In affection and love, we are happy to exchange our situations. Our community of spirit and heart with our disabled children, with our disabled brothers and sisters make us capable of liberating ourselves from our anger, our pride, our resentment towards others. By this communion with them, our heart is healed. Then when we try to help them the best we can, in return, they help us to be cured of our hardness of heart, to become kind and merciful and to possess a loving heart. Mgr Theotonius Gomes |
