This year, the Gospel of Mark is proposed to nourish our prayer: "He makes the deaf hear and the mute speak". (Mark 7, 37)  In our guidelines, Jean Vanier ends his meditation with these words: "Jesus calls on the Faith and Light communities to work for and desire unity through their compassion for those who are weakest: unity within each community, unity between Christians from different Churches, each person showing respect for the gifts of others. With Jesus, we beseech our Father: Father, let us be as one so that the world believes." |
