There weren’t many
at the foot of the cross…
Everyone had fled…
A few women, one of whom was Mary,
and a sole apostle, John,
had braved the humiliation
to see Jesus suffer and die;
they knew with Hope,
that little sister who was ‘going along…
the uneven way of salvation’

that this day
was not the end of the road.
