Creation of four new communities in Peru

These Faith and Light communities will be located in Cajamarca and Lima.

"The Province of Jesus, Light of the Andes, inspired by the Holy Father's call to leave the comfort of our communities and bring the hope of Faith and Light to all those in need, welcomed with joy the invitation of Bishop Isaac Martinez to launch a new mission in Cajamarca, a city located 858.8 km from Lima, Peru. The province made a first visit of announcement and awareness in the diocese of Cajamarca from 11 to 14 January 2022.

Bishop Isaac Martinez opened the doors of his diocese to the good news of Faith and Light and allowed us to make our movement known through a radio programme, announcements in the parishes at the end of the Eucharist, interviews with some priests interested in welcoming Faith and Light. We have also had the opportunity to speak with some parents who suffer the pain of having a child with an intellectual disability and who see Faith and Light as the ideal place to alleviate their anguish and loneliness."
